This website is live, and can be used for purchasing 'off-the-shelf' products. However, please note that construction of the site is in progress and more products are available than those shown here. Please contact us for more information if needed.
We are proud to list a number of global brands as our customers. If you have a bespoke requirement, call us on +44 (0)1985 219032, or use the 'Get In Touch' page, to see why they chose us.
Product Quality:
We manufacture and supply a wide range of bobbins. Circa 80% of these are manufactured in our Wiltshire-based factory where we have been for over 30 years. Partners and their products have been quality checked by us, before we agree to sell them to our customers; we have a tight grasp of quality in everything we sell.
We are ISO 9001 certified, and have received excellent feedback from our independent auditors.

Common Types of AV Mounts:
Bobbin Mounts:
Bobbin mounts represent one of the most versatile of all vibration isolators by virtue of their simplicity of construction and application. These mounts generally have a single fixing point on either side of a central rubber block.
We have many ‘off the shelf’ bobbins (click here), however bespoke products are regularly developed where specific requirements exist e.g. vibration/shock absorption characteristics, material specifications, product dimensions.
AVMR manufacture and supply a wide range of bobbin mounts
Most AVMR bobbins come in 3 configurations (see image). However, it is important to be aware that the ‘female-female’ option can result in heavily restricted compressive movement. This option is often best used for shear related applications.

Three standard bobbin configurations: male-female, male-male and female-female.
Pedestal Mounts:
Pedestal mounts are generally used for heavier duty applications than bobbin mounts, or applications where the mount is bolted to a solid surface, e.g floor.
These mounts normally have a flat plate at one end, with multiple fixing points (typically through holes) and a single central fixing point at the other end, which could be male or female – as per a bobbin mount.
Typical variables for these products include fixture details, rubber dimensions, and rubber hardness.
Plate Mounts:
Plate mounts are used in a number of scenarios, including when a low profile mount is required or when a rod has to pass all the way through the mount. Naturally, this type of mount needs to sit over a cavity so that sufficient room to oscillate is available.
These mounts normally have a tube in the middle and plate making up its circumference. The plate will generally have 2 or more through-holes which are bolted down.
Deflection characteristics are primarily impacted by the rubber shape and rubber type.

Bolt Through Isolators and Elastic Washers:
Pedestal mounts are generally used for heavier duty applications than bobbin mounts, or applications where the mount is bolted to a solid surface, e.g floor.
These mounts normally have a flat plate at one end, with multiple fixing points (typically through holes) and a single central fixing point at the other end, which could be male or female – as per a bobbin mount.
Typical variables for these products include fixture details and rubber characteristics, although fully bespoke products can also be developed if required.
